Fishing with John is an old 1991 television series that follows musician John Lurie on extravagant fishing trips with his famous friends. Many guests have included Jim Jarmusch, Matt Dillion, Tom Waits, and Willem Dafoe. . 

The show portrays John and his friends as serious anglers, however the truth of the matter is that they actually have no clue what they’re doing.
